Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices of whole-grain bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas or 1/4 cup canned
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: lemon juice fresh parsley, chili flakes

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bread slices to your preferred crispiness.
  • Mash the avocado in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
  • In a separate bowl, mash the chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the mashed avocado evenly on the toasted bread.
  • Top with the mashed chickpeas.
  • Garnish with optional toppings like parsley or chili flakes. Serve immediately.
