Ingredients
- Ground beef lean: 500g
- Pasta penne or spaghetti: 250g
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Onion chopped: 1 medium
- Garlic minced: 3 cloves
- Crushed tomatoes: 2 cups
- Tomato paste: 2 tablespoons
- Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Parmesan cheese grated: 1/2 cup
- Fresh basil optional: 1/4 cup
Instructions
- Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and fragrant.
- Add 500g ground beef, cook thoroughly while breaking apart until browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, mixing evenly.
- Simmer sauce for 15 minutes until thick and rich.
