Ingredients
Ground beef
lean: 500g
Pasta
penne or spaghetti: 250g
Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Onion
chopped: 1 medium
Garlic
minced: 3 cloves
Crushed tomatoes: 2 cups
Tomato paste: 2 tablespoons
Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
Parmesan cheese
grated: 1/2 cup
Fresh basil
optional: 1/4 cup
Instructions
Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and fragrant.
Add 500g ground beef, cook thoroughly while breaking apart until browned and fully cooked.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, mixing evenly.
Simmer sauce for 15 minutes until thick and rich.
Combine cooked pasta with sauce, toss well, then top with parmesan and fresh basil before serving.
