  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans optional but highly recommended

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prep the Apples

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  • Toss sliced apples with lemon juice, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  • Spread apple mixture evenly in the prepared dish.

Step 2: Make the Crisp Topping

  • Combine oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  • Stir in melted coconut oil and maple syrup until everything is evenly coated.
  • Fold in chopped pecans for extra crunch.

Step 3: Bake the Crisp

  • Spread the oat mixture evenly over the apples.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden and crispy.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving (if you have any patience left).
