Ingredients

  • 10 fresh strawberries washed and dried (wet strawberries = chocolate disaster)
  • 1 cup dairy-free dark chocolate chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil for extra smoothness
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts shredded coconut, or sea salt

Instructions

  • Step 1: Melt the Chocolate
  • Use a double boiler or microwave to melt the chocolate and coconut oil until smooth.
  • Stir constantly to prevent burning (because burned chocolate is a crime).
  • Step 2: Dip the Strawberries
  • Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate.
  • Twist slightly to coat evenly and let excess drip off.
  • Place each dipped strawberry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Step 3: Add Toppings & Chill
  • Sprinkle with crushed nuts, coconut, or sea salt before the chocolate sets.
  • Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until firm.
  • Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
  • Eat immediately or store in the fridge for up to two days.
  • Try not to eat them all at once—but no judgment if you do.

Extra Tips for Perfect Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

  • Dry strawberries completely before dipping or the chocolate won’t stick.
  • Use high-quality dark chocolate for a richer taste (and to feel extra fancy).
  • Let them chill at room temp for a glossy finish instead of refrigerating immediately.
  • Want a drizzle effect? Use melted white dairy-free chocolate for contrast.
These chocolate-covered beauties take minutes to make but look like you tried way harder. Simple, decadent, and dangerously addictive. You’ve been warned.
