- 10 fresh strawberries washed and dried (wet strawberries = chocolate disaster)
- 1 cup dairy-free dark chocolate chopped
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil for extra smoothness
- Optional toppings: chopped nuts shredded coconut, or sea salt
Step 1: Melt the Chocolate
Use a double boiler or microwave to melt the chocolate and coconut oil until smooth.
Stir constantly to prevent burning (because burned chocolate is a crime).
Step 2: Dip the Strawberries
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate.
Twist slightly to coat evenly and let excess drip off.
Place each dipped strawberry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Step 3: Add Toppings & Chill
Sprinkle with crushed nuts, coconut, or sea salt before the chocolate sets.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until firm.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
Eat immediately or store in the fridge for up to two days.
Try not to eat them all at once—but no judgment if you do.

Extra Tips for Perfect Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
-
Dry strawberries completely before dipping or the chocolate won’t stick.
-
Use high-quality dark chocolate for a richer taste (and to feel extra fancy).
-
Let them chill at room temp for a glossy finish instead of refrigerating immediately.
-
Want a drizzle effect? Use melted white dairy-free chocolate for contrast.
These chocolate-covered beauties take minutes to make but look like you tried way harder. Simple, decadent, and dangerously addictive. You’ve been warned.
