- 1 tbsp soy sauce for umami magic
- ½ tbsp maple syrup because balance
- ½ tsp smoked paprika for that smoky kick

For the Sandwich:
- 4 slices sourdough or whole-grain bread toasted to perfection
- 2 tbsp vegan mayo store-bought or homemade
- 1 large tomato sliced thick
- ½ cup crisp lettuce because texture matters
Mix soy sauce, maple syrup, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a small bowl.
Marinate vegan bacon in the mixture for 5 minutes.
Heat a frying pan over medium and cook bacon for 3-4 minutes per side.
Toast bread until golden brown.
Spread vegan mayo generously on each slice.
Layer crispy bacon, tomato slices, and fresh lettuce.
Close the sandwich and press lightly to hold everything together.
Slice in half and enjoy immediately.
