Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, toss apples with maple syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and cornstarch.
  • Transfer the coated apples to the baking dish, spreading evenly.
  • In another bowl, combine oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Pour melted coconut oil over the mixture and stir until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the crisp topping evenly over the apples.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before devouring.
