Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich:

  • 4 slices of bread sourdough or white
  • 4 slices vegan cheese or ½ cup shredded vegan cheese
  • 1 fresh jalapeño thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter or margarine
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder optional

For Serving:

  • Vegan ranch or tomato soup because balance matters

Instructions
 

  • Spread vegan butter on one side of each bread slice.
  • Heat a skillet on medium heat.
  • Place one slice, buttered side down, on the skillet.
  • Add vegan cheese and scatter sliced jalapeños evenly.
  • Sprinkle a little garlic powder for extra flavor.
  • Top with another bread slice, buttered side up.
  • Grill 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip and cook the other side until cheese melts perfectly.
  • Slice diagonally and serve hot (and spicy).
