- 4 slices of bread sourdough or white
- 4 slices vegan cheese or ½ cup shredded vegan cheese
- 1 fresh jalapeño thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter or margarine
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder optional
For Serving:
- Vegan ranch or tomato soup because balance matters
Spread vegan butter on one side of each bread slice.
Heat a skillet on medium heat.
Place one slice, buttered side down, on the skillet.
Add vegan cheese and scatter sliced jalapeños evenly.
Sprinkle a little garlic powder for extra flavor.
Top with another bread slice, buttered side up.
Grill 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
Flip and cook the other side until cheese melts perfectly.
Slice diagonally and serve hot (and spicy).
