Ingredients
  

  • Vegan sardine fillets soy or pea protein-based – 8 small fillets
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic minced – 2 cloves
  • Red chili flakes – 1 tsp
  • Smoked paprika – ½ tsp
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Fresh parsley – 1 tbsp chopped

Instructions
 

  • Pat vegan sardines dry with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, whisk olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, chili flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat sardines evenly with marinade; let rest 8 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat; lightly oil grates.
  • Place sardines on grill; cook 4–5 minutes per side until charred and tender.
  • Brush with leftover marinade during final minute.
  • Remove, sprinkle parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
