- 2 cups seitan or extra-firm tofu pressed and sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper adjust for heat preference
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease baking dish.
In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Coat seitan or tofu slices evenly in Cajun spice mixture.
Arrange slices in baking dish; pour any remaining marinade over top.
Bake 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and slightly crispy.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
