  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes optional
  • For the Stir-Fry:
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the beef: Toss steak with cornstarch, soy sauce, and black pepper. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare the sauce: Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic, and chili flakes in a bowl.
  • Cook the beef: Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Sear the beef until browned, then remove.
  • Stir-fry the broccoli: Add oil and cook broccoli until bright green but still crisp.
  • Combine and finish: Return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir everything together.
  • Thicken the sauce: Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for one minute until glossy.
  • Serve hot: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy over rice.
