  • Sourdough starter — 1 cup
  • Whole wheat flour — 2 cups
  • Plant protein powder — ½ cup
  • Warm water — 1 cup
  • Olive oil — 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup — 1 tablespoon
  • Salt — 1 teaspoon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Add sourdough starter (1 cup) and warm water (1 cup) to a bowl.
  • Stir in maple syrup (1 tablespoon) and olive oil (1 tablespoon).
  • Add whole wheat flour (2 cups) and protein powder (½ cup).
  • Mix until thick dough forms.
  • Add salt (1 teaspoon) and stir again.
  • Transfer dough into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until firm.
  • Cool before slicing.
