  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 whole-grain burger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • ½ avocado sliced

Instructions
 

  • Place plant-based turkey, ½ cup mashed beans, and rolled oats in a mixing bowl.
  • Add onion, garlic, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix thoroughly until mixture holds together.
  • Shape mixture into 4 equal patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook patties for 6 minutes per side until browned.
  • Lightly toast burger buns if desired.
  • Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, and cooked patties.
  • Serve warm.
