Cooked lentils — 1½ cups
Black beans — 1 cup
mashed
Breadcrumbs — ½ cup
Olive oil — 2 tablespoons
Garlic — 2 cloves

Soy sauce — 1 tablespoon
Smoked paprika — 1 teaspoon
Onion powder — 1 teaspoon
Salt — ½ teaspoon
Black pepper — ¼ teaspoon
Burger buns — 4
Lettuce — 4 leaves
Tomato — 1 large

Instructions
Place lentils (1½ cups) and black beans (1 cup) into a bowl.
Mash mixture until slightly chunky.
Add breadcrumbs (½ cup), garlic (2 cloves), and soy sauce (1 tablespoon).
Mix in smoked paprika (1 teaspoon) and onion powder (1 teaspoon).
Season with salt (½ teaspoon) and black pepper (¼ teaspoon).
Form mixture into 4 patties.
Heat olive oil (2 tablespoons) in a skillet.
Cook patties 6–7 minutes per side until firm.
Assemble patties inside buns with lettuce and tomato.
