  • Bread slices – 2 whole grain or sourdough
  • Ripe avocado – 1 large
  • Lime juice – 1 tsp
  • Tomato – ½ medium finely diced
  • Red onion – 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Fresh cilantro – 1 tbsp chopped
  • Salt – ¼ tsp
  • Black pepper – ¼ tsp

Instructions
 

  • Toast bread slices until golden brown.
  • Mash avocado in a bowl with lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix in diced tomato, onion, and cilantro.
  • Spread guacamole generously over each toast slice.
  • Serve immediately with extra lime wedges if desired.
