Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich:

  • 4 slices sourdough or multigrain bread
  • ½ cup vegan cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 –5 pickle slices dill or bread-and-butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegan butter or olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Add-ons:

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Dash of hot sauce if you like chaos

Instructions
 

  • Heat skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread vegan butter on one side of each bread slice.
  • Place one slice buttered side down on the skillet.
  • Layer cheese evenly across the bread.
  • Add pickles over the cheese and sprinkle pepper.
  • Top with the second slice, buttered side up.
  • Grill for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and melted.
  • Press lightly with a spatula for crisp perfection.
  • Slice diagonally because presentation matters.
  • Serve hot with attitude.
