Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich:

  • 4 slices of bread sourdough or white
  • ½ cup shredded vegan mozzarella or 4 slices vegan mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter or margarine
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder optional but highly recommended
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano or basil optional for Italian flair

For Serving:

  • Tomato soup or balsamic glaze drizzle

Instructions
 

  • Spread vegan butter on one side of each bread slice.
  • Heat a skillet on medium heat.
  • Place one slice, buttered side down, on the skillet.
  • Add vegan mozzarella evenly and sprinkle with garlic powder and oregano.
  • Top with the second slice, buttered side up.
  • Grill 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip carefully and cook until the cheese melts beautifully.
  • Slice diagonally because triangles always taste better.
  • Serve hot with tomato soup or your favorite dip.
