For the Sandwich:
- 4 slices of bread sourdough or white
- ½ cup shredded vegan mozzarella or 4 slices vegan mozzarella
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter or margarine
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder optional but highly recommended
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano or basil optional for Italian flair
For Serving:
- Tomato soup or balsamic glaze drizzle
Spread vegan butter on one side of each bread slice.
Heat a skillet on medium heat.
Place one slice, buttered side down, on the skillet.
Add vegan mozzarella evenly and sprinkle with garlic powder and oregano.
Top with the second slice, buttered side up.
Grill 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
Flip carefully and cook until the cheese melts beautifully.
Slice diagonally because triangles always taste better.
Serve hot with tomato soup or your favorite dip.
