- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- ¼ cup cold water
- Sesame seeds & sliced green onions for garnish, optional
- Cooked white rice for serving
Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
Step 2: Assemble in the Crockpot
Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours, or until chicken is tender.
