  • 2 cups plant-based chicken-style seitan or soy protein
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp nutritional yeast for umami flair
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk lemon juice, zest, garlic, mustard, oil, broth, and all dry seasonings like you're in a cooking show.
  • Place plant-based chicken pieces in the Crockpot like the queen you are.
  • Pour the lemon garlic potion over the top.
