- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Prepare the pan: Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
Heat the base: In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Boil: Once boiling, reduce heat and continue cooking for 5 minutes without stirring.
Add peanut butter: Remove from heat and quickly stir in peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
Pour and cool: Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Set: Let it cool at room temperature for 2 hours or until firm.
