Ingredients

For the Pizza Dough (Skip if Using Store-Bought):

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet 2 ¼ tsp yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Toppings:

  • 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce use your favorite
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup red onion thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped (optional but highly recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). If using a pizza stone, let it heat inside the oven.
  • Make the dough (if homemade): Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Add warm water and olive oil. Knead for 5 minutes, let it rest.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface. Aim for a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a greased pizza pan.
  • Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Layer the toppings: Add chicken, red onion, and cheese. Be generous. More toppings = better pizza.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese melts and the crust turns golden brown.
  • Sprinkle cilantro over the top before serving. Slice and devour immediately.
