- 2 cups seitan or extra-firm tofu pressed and sliced
- 3 tbsp vegan butter
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease baking dish.
In a bowl, mix vegan butter, garlic, thyme, rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Coat seitan or tofu slices evenly in garlic butter mixture.
Arrange slices in baking dish; pour remaining butter mixture over top.
Bake 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and aromatic.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
