Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups seitan or extra-firm tofu pressed and sliced
  • 3 tbsp vegan butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix vegan butter, garlic, thyme, rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat seitan or tofu slices evenly in garlic butter mixture.
  • Arrange slices in baking dish; pour remaining butter mixture over top.
  • Bake 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and aromatic.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
