Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium apples any variety
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Peel and slice apples into thin wedges.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and melt butter.
  3. Add apple slices to the pan and sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt over the apples.
  5. Stir and cook for another 7 minutes until tender.
  6. Add lemon juice, stir, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Serve warm, and enjoy your fall treat!
