Ingredients
  

  • Vegan beef-style mince soy or pea protein: 450 g
  • Rolled oats: ½ cup
  • Unsweetened soy milk: ½ cup
  • Onion finely chopped: ½ cup
  • Garlic minced: 1½ tsp
  • Tomato paste: 2½ tbsp
  • Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil: 1 tbsp
  • Smoked paprika: 1 tsp
  • Black pepper: ½ tsp
  • Salt: ¾ tsp
  • Ground cumin: ½ tsp
  • Ground flaxseed: 1 tbsp
  • Water: 3 tbsp

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  • Combine flaxseed and water, rest five minutes until thickened.
  • Add mince, oats, onion, garlic, milk, flax mixture, spices, oil, and soy sauce to bowl.
  • Mix gently until evenly combined, avoiding overworking the mixture.
  • Press mixture firmly into loaf pan and spread tomato paste across the surface.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, rest five minutes, then slice cleanly.
