  • Burger buns — 4
  • Lettuce — 4 leaves
  • Tomato — 1 large sliced

Instructions
 

  • Place lentils (2 cups) in a mixing bowl.
  • Mash until thick but slightly textured.
  • Add breadcrumbs (½ cup) and soy sauce (1 tablespoon).
  • Stir in garlic (2 cloves), smoked paprika (1 teaspoon), and onion powder (1 teaspoon).
  • Season with salt (½ teaspoon) and black pepper (¼ teaspoon).
  • Form mixture into 4 patties.
  • Heat olive oil (2 tablespoons) in a skillet.
  • Cook patties 6–7 minutes per side until firm.
  • Assemble burgers using buns, lettuce, and tomato.
