- 4 cups water

- ½ cup onions chopped
- ½ cup tomatoes chopped
- ½ cup carrots diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons coriander chopped
Rinse lentils well.
Heat oil in pot.
Add onions.

Pour water.
