Ingredients
  

  • 200 g firm tofu pressed and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or agave
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon grated ginger
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Pat tofu dry and coat with cornstarch.
  • Heat oil in wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add tofu and cook until crispy and golden, about 6 minutes.
  • Remove tofu and set aside.
  • Add garlic and ginger to wok; sauté until fragrant.
  • Toss in bell peppers and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, and maple syrup in a bowl.
  • Pour sauce into the wok and stir until it bubbles.
  • Add tofu back and toss until coated and glossy.
