  • Rolled oats finely ground: ¼ cup
  • Onion finely chopped: ¼ cup
  • Garlic minced: 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil: 1 tsp
  • Smoked paprika: ½ tsp
  • Black pepper: ½ tsp
  • Dried oregano: ½ tsp
  • Salt: ½ tsp

For Serving (Optional)

  • Whole wheat burger buns: 2
  • Lettuce leaves: 2
  • Tomato slices: 4
  • Vegan mayo or mustard: 1 tbsp

Instructions
 

  • Add vegan mince, oats, onion, garlic, soy sauce, oil, and spices to a bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly until mixture holds together firmly.
  • Shape into two equal burger patties.
  • Heat pan over medium heat and lightly grease.
  • Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and heated through.
  • Assemble burgers with buns, vegetables, and sauce if using.
