Protein Pan-Seared Chops Recipe
Ingredients
- Vegan protein chops soy or pea-based: 2 pieces (120 g each)
- Olive oil: 1½ tbsp
- Garlic powder: ½ tsp
- Smoked paprika: ½ tsp
- Black pepper: ½ tsp
- Salt: ½ tsp
- Lemon juice: 1 tsp
- Fresh herbs parsley or thyme, chopped: 1 tbsp
Instructions
- Pat protein chops dry, then season evenly with garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt.
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil until shimmering confidently.
- Place chops carefully and sear for 4 minutes without moving for proper crust.
- Flip chops, cook another 4 minutes, and reduce heat slightly.
- Drizzle lemon juice, cook two more minutes, and remove from heat.
