Protein Salmon Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
- Vegan salmon fillets soy or pea protein based: 200 g
- Olive oil: 1 tbsp
- Smoked paprika: 1 tsp
- Garlic powder: ½ tsp
- Cumin powder: ½ tsp
- Salt: ½ tsp
- Black pepper: ¼ tsp
- Corn tortillas: 4 small
- Cabbage shredded: 1 cup
- Carrot grated: ¼ cup
- Vegan mayo or cashew cream: 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice: 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander chopped: 2 tbsp
Instructions
- Heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat.
- Season vegan salmon with paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Place fillets in the pan and cook 4 minutes per side until golden.
- Shred cooked salmon gently using a spatula.
- Mix cabbage, carrot, vegan mayo, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Warm tortillas on a dry pan for 30 seconds per side.
- Fill tortillas with salmon using 50 g per taco.
- Top with slaw and coriander evenly.
- Serve immediately with confidence and napkins.
