Keto Beef Jerky
Ingredients
- 8 oz king oyster mushrooms or 1 cup seitan strips
- 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tbsp liquid smoke
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Prep the Base:
- Slice mushrooms into thin strips or prepare seitan similarly for perfect chew.
- Make Marinade:
- Mix tamari, liquid smoke, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
- Marinate:
- Toss strips in marinade, cover, refrigerate 1 hour to soak in the sass.
- Dehydrate or Bake:
